BURR RIDGE — Last year was a good year for condominium sales at Burr Ridge Village Center.
“We sold 24 condos in 2012,” said Scott Rolston, general manager of the Burr Ridge Village Center.
The center, which includes offices, retail stores and restaurants as well as residential properties, received new financing in 2011, which allowed the center to drop the price on its remaining residential properties. That, combined with peoples’ renewed ability to borrow, got the units moving, Rolston said.
“It’s a good indication that the market is starting to recover,” he said.
Thirty-two of the Village Center’s 196 condominiums remain on the market. Those remaining units range from 1,000 to 1,960 square feet and are priced between $249,000 and $349,000.
