DOWNERS GROVE — The Friends of Share “Share our Future” fashion show and luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. March 2 at Ashton Place in Willowbrook. Entirely funded by philanthropy, the Share perinatal loss support program at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital allows families to receive counseling, grief literature and emotional support during and after their crisis, including support from others who have lived through similar situations.

“Share helps heal deep wounds inflicted by the loss and at the same time keeps the memories alive to ensure that the life lost is not in vain,” said Dr. Vibha Thaker, neonatal physician on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Tickets are $75 for adults and $35 for children. All proceeds benefit Share. Respond by Feb. 15 to Darlene Emph at (630) 275-6029.

A Gucci bag, two $1,000 cash prizes and an iPad 2 are among the top prizes for this year’s grand prize drawing. Raffle tickets are $25 for one or $100 for five.

“This year, we have 12 doctors and hospital administrators in the fashion show, in addition to 22 kids. We are also honoring all of our past committee members and chairs,” said Chris Pinne, event chairwoman.
