Burr Ridge Police Blotter for May 29

The following incidents were listed among the reports of the Burr Ridge Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
DRUGS
Ibrahim Abu-Khaled, 25, of 6551 W. 91st St., Oak Lawn, was charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at 12:56 a.m. Sunday on Route 83 near 91st Street. He was originally stopped for an equipment violation, police said.
ALCOHOL
Robert Semrad, 44, of 388 N. Deer Park, Highland Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a traffic light and driving without insurance after a traffic stop at 3:46 a.m. Sunday on County Line Road at Interstate 55.
BURGLARY
A money clip and a watch were taken from the laundry room of a home on Shiloh Court at about 1 a.m. on May 22. Residents were in another part of the home when they heard door chimes. They called police, who found an unlocked sliding door.
THEFT
A wallet was taken from a night stand in a resident’s room at Emeritus, 6801 High Grove Blvd., during the night Sunday or early Monday.
A wreath was taken from the door of a room at Emeritus, 6801 High Grove Blvd., during the night Sunday or early Monday.
Spare tires were stolen from two vans belonging to Marriott, 1200 Burr Ridge Parkway, during the night Sunday. The vans were parked in the hotel parking lot.
EXPOSURE
A boy in his early teens reportedly exposed himself to two girls at Harvester Park, 15W400 Harvester Drive, at 9:37 p.m. on May 21. The boy reportedly then spit on the girls and made a comment referencing a sexual act. Police are investigating.
DAMAGE
A window was broken at a home on the 6600 block of Manor Drive. The damage was discovered at 10:22 a.m. on May 21. It is not known how the damage occurred.
