Burr Ridge police blotter for June 19

The following incidents were listed in the weekly bulletin prepared by the Burr Ridge Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
ALCOHOL
Three people face charges after police stopped an allegedly speeding car on Interstate 55 near Route 83 at 2:53 a.m. on June 14. Driver Lindsey Forkin, 19, of 14655 Lamon, Midlothian, was charged with underage consumption, possession of open alcohol, improper lane use and under the state’s zero tolerance law for drinking and driving. Lauren Pikor, 19, of 15249 Alameda, Oak Forest, was charged with underaged consumption. Fernando Cuellargarcia, 20, of 15500 Albert Drive, Oak Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 17-year-old boy from Downers Grove was charged with illegal possession of alcohol at Citizens Park, 10S474 Madison St., at 10:16 p.m. on June 12. He was released to his father.
DRUGS
Bryan Brandt, 20, of 49 Ridgeland Lane, Willowbrook, was charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on the 7500 block of Madison Street at 4:29 p.m. on June 14.
BURGLARY
A tool box was taken from an open garage on the 100 block of Carriage Way Drive between 5 and 7 p.m. on Sunday. The tool box and tools are valued at $500.
Someone entered an unlocked car parked on the 16W100 block of 83rd Street during the night on June 13. Nothing was taken.
Someone entered a home on the 6600 block of County Line Road between June 9 and 11 and broke two pieces of copper pipe from a bathroom. Loss is estimated at $100.
THEFT
A brass sprinkler fitting was stolen from a home on the 15W500 block of 60th Place in March or April. The loss, estimated at $300, was reported to police June 14.
DELINQUENCY
Adrian Arceo, 18, of 6901 Brookbank St., Darien, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and driving with no registration light after a traffic stop on Central at Route 83 at 2:11 a.m. on Sunday. A 15-year-old girl riding in Arceo’s car was charged with curfew violation and released to her parent.
FLEEING
Viktor Cvetanovski, 31, of 214 Oak Ridge Ave., Hillside, was charged with driving on a suspended license and attempting to flee or elude police after a traffic stop on 91st Street near Route 83 at 9:59 a.m. on June 14.
DAMAGE
A screen door lock was broken on a home on the 9000 block of Turnberry Drive sometime before 3:37 p.m. on June 14. Nothing else was taken or damaged.
