National Honor Society induction
On May 20, new officers were installed and students were inducted into the Benet Academy Chapter of the National Honor Society. Students are selected for membership based upon their outstanding performance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership and character. Students inducted have maintained a grade point average of 88 percent or higher, a conduct grade of 88 percent or higher, performed the required service hours (12 hours of Benet service for prospective sophomores, 18 hours for juniors) and remain active in at least one extracurricular activity. Inductees also had to submit a personal essay, a recommendation and have their selection approved by faculty and staff.
