Students enrolled at Western Illinois University were named to the 2012 summer dean’s list, including:
From Burr Ridge: Joseph E. Manfredini (senior)
From Westchester: Erini Nomikos (senior)
Sagar K. Shah of Burr Ridge, was one of 252 graduates who received a doctor of medicine degree recently at the commencement of Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. While at Jefferson, Shah received the Foerderer Research Grant. Following graduation, Shah will begin a residency in family medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. Shah received a bachelor of arts degree from Northwestern University, in Evanston.
Daniel O’Rourke of Willowbrook, has accepted a dean’s award to attend Xavier University in Cincinnati. The son of Mary and the late Jerome O’Rourke, O’Rourke graduated this spring from Hinsdale Central High School. He is majoring in criminal justice at Xavier.
Susan Banashak, from Western Springs, graduated Cum Laude from Pt. Loma Nazarine University in San Diego, CA. She received a bachelor’s degree in fashion and interiors merchandise, with a minor in business administration.
Paul Vaccarello of La Grange completed his degree requirements as of Aug. 2012. Vaccarello graduated from Millikin University with a bachleor of music in music/business.

From Countryside:
Angela Kepley, music performance, master of music degree
From Hinsdale:
Chuluunkhuu Baatar, public health admin., bachelor of science degree

From Westchester:
Anne Nelson, literacy education, master of science in education degree
Alyssa Pracz, journalism, bachelor of arts degree

Kimberly Juntunen, political science, politics, bachelor of arts degree
Matthew Beaver, business administration, master of business administration degree
John Olson of Westchester was named by the University of Wisconsin-Parkside as a student who earned a bachelor of arts degree in English following the spring 2012 semester.
Philip Chmalts of Countryside has earned placement on the dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2012 academic year at Berklee College of Music.
