The Legacy Guild plans spring fundraiser

The Legacy Guild will hold its spring event, a rockin’ evening at Fitzgerald’s Nightclub in Berwyn featuring Spoken Four, one of the hottest live bands in Chicago. The dance party rocks the main stage at Fitzgerald’s from 7 p.m. to midnight on April 20.

Tickets are as low as $100 each with purchase of four and are available online at www.TheLegacyGuild.com. The ticket price includes open bar and tasty food, a roundtrip bus ride from Western Springs or La Grange, a celebrity emcee, opportunities to bid on great live and silent auction prizes. Tickets are limited.

Spoken Four delivers a repertoire of songs from the 1950s to today’s Top 40. Funds raised will go toward college scholarships for local high school students who have lost a parent.

The Legacy Guild was formed in 2012 by a group of men from La Grange and surrounding areas drawn together after a cluster of sudden and unexpected deaths of some great friends and neighbors. The support group is Christian-based and meets regularly to discuss important issues, including how to be a better father, husband, son, brother, neighbor and friend.

To be eligible for a 2013 scholarship, students must submit an online application at www.TheLegacyGuild.com by March 15. High school seniors and college students are eligible if they live in Lyons Township District 204 and have had a parent die while being raised in the area. While students must live in the district, they remain eligible if they attend, or attended, a high school outside the District. Awards will be announced in May.
