Krystal Sanchez of Clarendon Hills received certification in massage therapy from the College of Allied Health Sciences at National University of Health Sciences during a commencement ceremony held recently. Sanchez also worked as an intern in the university’s on-campus integrative medical clinic.
Suzanne Oskouie, a resident of Hinsdale, is a 2013 Honors College graduate, who has been awarded a Fulbright research grant to study neural progenitor cell migration and differentiation at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. Her fellowship will last one year, beginning in September. The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and those of other countries. After three years of undergraduate study as a member of University of Illinois at Chicago’s Guaranteed Professional Program Admissions in medicine, Oskouie graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago in May with bachelor’s degrees in neuroscience and French and francophone studies. Oskouie plans to attend medical school at University of Illinois at Chicago following her studies in Switzerland.
