Naperville North didn’t lose a girls soccer game last season en route to the Class 3A state championship.

This year, it took only two games.

In a rematch of last season’s state final, Hinsdale Central junior Emily LaRocque scored with 33:53 remaining in the second half Saturday on a second-chance shot off Jenny Saviski’s corner kick for a 1-0 victory.

After her first attempt was deflected, the ball came back to LaRocque for a rebound as the Huskies (0-1-1) allowed their first goal of the season.

Hinsdale Central (2-0), which lost 2-1 in the 2012 state final, held Naperville North to one shot in the first 60 minutes.
