LA GRANGE – In the coming weeks we will be getting to know some of the outstanding students at Nazareth Academy. This week we meet senior Chris Tovar.
Last season, Chicago’s Christopher Tovar led Nazareth’s soccer team in all offensive categories: goals, assists and shots on goal, and he is poised to do it again this year. “His role on the team has evolved, from being just a contributing member of the team as a freshman to one of the team's leaders, a captain, as a senior. Chris has proven to be a great captain. He leads by example; always at practice, ready to go. He gives 100% both in practice and on the game field while motivating his teammates to do the same,” says Head Coach, Doug Hunt.
