Article not newsworthy
It is not newsworthy to me that a job applicant was passed over, as was reported in the lengthy Aug. 9 article “District 181 teachers upset by hiring decision.” Our country has experienced unemployment over 8 pecent for more than three years and many people are struggling. Our newspaper could be filled with hundreds of stories about applicants who did not get hired for positions that they sought. Please report newsworthy articles to the residents of our community.
