It is that time of year—a change in seasons is on the horizon. You can feel it in the air, you can see it in the shop windows: fall is on it’s way!
The time right before the season changes is an exciting time for diners as menu and ingredient changes are anticipated.
There is speculation (What will stay? What will go?); There are suggestions (Chef, will you be putting an apple dessert on the menu?); There are exciting and different specials (possible new menu items in the making?!). Admittedly, it is hard to say “good bye” to some of our favorite Summer menu items. Many we will welcome again next year (or renewed vision of them) so instead of saying good bye—we will say “farewell for now” to some dishes while making room for some innovative new flavors and items.
