Boys basketball: Former Lyons player coming home again as opposing coach

The 2002 Lyons grad now coaches Kenwood. This will be his second straight year facing his alma mater, according to High School Cube News.

Jim Maley is coming home to Lyons Saturday, but isn’t sure what type of greeting he’ll get.

Maley, the third-year coach for Kenwood, will bring his boys basketball team to his alma mater for the second consecutive year when Kenwood meets Lyons at 5 p.m. Saturday in La Grange.
