Hinsdale Central 57, Oak Park-River Forest 53

THE SKINNY

Hinsdale Central went on the road and pulled off a stunning 57-53 upset win over No. 16 Oak Park-River Forest (6-1, 0-1) in West Suburban Silver action. The Huskies' star player, senior guard Erick Locke, was in foul trouble for much of the night and finished with just five points.

TURNING POINT

With his team down by two points, Red Devils' senior guard Chase Hamilton knocked down a 3-pointer with 1 minute, 22 seconds to play, giving Hinsdale Central (5-2, 2-1) the lead for good. The Red Devils converted their final six free throws to help seal the win.
