Boys basketball: Hinsdale Central senior does all the little things

Hinsdale Central forward puts in the work to help his team get off to a 4-1 start in conference, according to High School Cube News.

Hinsdale Central senior Ryan Scales plans to pursue a career in business. A 6-foot-2 forward, he sees similarities between being and athlete and working in the business world.  

“Thinking on the spot is definitely something you do in both,” Scales said. “Doing research on another team or player is like doing research in investments and business.”  

Scales is a member of Hinsdale Central’s Business Professionals of America, which placed 12th at nationals last year, and Investment Club, where students invest their own money and choose stocks.
