THE SKINNY

Mount Carmel won its eighth consecutive game by beating host Fenwick in a Catholic League North contest on Friday. The Caravan (17-6, 8-2) upset a higher ranked opponent for the second consecutive week, also handing St. Joseph its first loss in the conference.

TURNING POINT

The Friars (15-7, 6-3) pulled to within five points twice in the fourth quarter, but missed all five of their 3-point attempts. Fenwick scored six consecutive points late in the quarter to cut the deficit to 54-49, but Christian Searles answered with a pair of free throws with 54.6 seconds remaining.
