Benet led by 27 points at halftime as they cruised to an easy 70-31 win over Nazareth, according to High School Cube News.

THE SKINNY

Wednesday’s East Suburban Catholic contest between Nazareth (14-7, 2-2) and visiting Benet (14-7, 2-3) was never in doubt as the Redwings shot the lights out in LaGrange Park, on the way to a 70-31 win.

THE TURNING POINT

After the game’s opening tip-off, Benet stood on the gas pedal and never looked back. In a sport marked by momentum swings, the Redwings never allowed the Roadrunners a meaningful scoring run and led by 27 points by halftime.
