Coach Dave Power finally took the organizers up on their offer. Fenwick’s first game in Miami was a 78-40 loss to eventual tournament champion Nova, followed by a 50-47 defeat to South Miami. Power said Owens could return in the next few weeks. In Owen’s absence, Fenwick got nice contributions in Miami from sophomore Kiki Sheard and junior Jenny Mackowiak.
