Girls basketball: Hinsdale Central using new freshman talent on varsity level

Hinsdale Central's girls basketball team has been hit hard by injuries this year but that's giving a pair of freshman a chance to step up and show what they've got, according to High School Cube News.

Hinsdale Central junior standout Gabrielle Rush knows as well as anyone what it’s like to splash onto the varsity scene as a freshman.

She made an immediate impact for the Red Devils in her debut season.

The 5-foot-10 guard believes the program has two more rising stars in freshmen Paige Bareck and Riley Burr.
