Girls basketball: Hinsdale South sophomore becomes team leader

In the face of injuries, and with the team needing someone to become a dominant player, one Hinsdale South sophomore is filling the void, according to High School Cube News.

In the months leading up to her sophomore season, Hornets guard Sydney Kopp found herself with a lot of free time on her hands since she didn’t play a fall sport.  

Kopp saw an opportunity to prepare for the basketball season.

“I went down into my basement and spent a lot of time working out and building up my strength and conditioning instead of sitting around,” she said.
