Nazareth came out flat in a rivalry game and Lyons pounced as they won 61-35, according to High School Cube News.

THE SKINNY

After losing four of its last five games, host Lyons routed rival Nazareth Tuesday night, not allowing a basket in the first quarter in a non-conference battle for La Grange-LaGrange Park bragging rights.

TURNING POINT

Nazareth (13-5) scored seven of the first 10 points to start the second quarter, but Lyons (10-7) answered with an 11-point run to take a 29-10 lead. The Roadrunners went nearly seven minutes without a basket as Lyons led 38-11 into the third quarter.
