Juliana Raimondi can take a hit.
She proved it again Saturday as Nazareth played two games on the final day of the Riverside-Brookfield Holiday Classic.
The Roadrunners, needing a doubleheader sweep to take the tournament title, pulled off a split. Earlier in the day, Nazareth won 54-45 over the host Bulldogs in the semifinals to extend the Roadrunners’ winning streak to five games.
In the final, St. Ignatius wrapped up the tournament 5-0, capped by a 46-35 victory over Nazareth. Sydney Newman’s 3-pointer provided the Roadrunners with their only basket in the fourth quarter before missing their last nine shots.
