Girls gymnastics: Expectations lowered for Hinsdale South at conference meet

Hinsdale South's girls gymnastics team is in a rebuilding year but that doesn't mean several members of the team don't want to end their careers on a high note, according to High School Cube News.

Hinsdale South isn’t expected to repeat its West Suburban Gold title Friday night, but seniors Brenna Budaitis and Jorie Smith still have some goals to accomplish entering the final weeks of their gymnastics careers.

After losing four veterans to club gymnastics competition this season, the Hornets won only one conference dual meet. Addison Trail is the favorite to win the crown at the conference meet at 6 p.m. Friday at Leyden’s Northlake campus.
