Hinsdale South won its third game in a row and continued a push toward qualifying for the playoffs. The Hornets (3-3, 3-1) scored the game’s first 19 points, holding defending West Suburban Gold champ Leyden (1-5, 1-2) to just a 39-yard field goal by sophomore Kevin Vargas in the fourth quarter.
