High School Hoops Showdown at Hinsdale

Central Fenwick (13-5) vs. Hinsdale Central (12-5) • Saturday @ 6:30 p.m. This caps off a rugged two-week, four-game stretch for Fenwick that included St. Joseph, Proviso East, Loyola Academy and now Hinsdale Central. The good news is Northwestern recruit Scott Lindsey has returned from injury and, more importantly, is inching his way back to 100 percent. Lindsey is Fenwick’s most talented player, but he also provides a much-needed outside shooting presence. The Friars have some size and defensive versatility in 6-8 Dan Dwyer and 6-5 Tom Planek to throw at Hinsdale Central star Matt Rafferty, a highly-productive 6-7 junior.
