LA GRANGE – Twin brothers, Pat and John Killcommons, round out Nazareth Academy football's offensive line as a right guard and right tackle respectively, High School Cube News writes. According to High School Cube News,
"Nazareth twin brothers Pat and John Killcommons do just about everything together.
It took some convincing, however, for John to join his brother on the football field.
“Pat got me to do it,” John Killcommons said. “I really didn’t want to play football. I wanted to play golf and Pat told me not to. I decided to do football and I hated it. I almost quit, but I’m glad I kept playing because I really enjoy it now.”
The Killcommons are starting offensive linemen this season for the Roadrunners. The 6-foot-3, 255-pound Pat is the right guard, while John is a 6-4, 270 right tackle.
“Starting is a big thing for us,” John Killcommons said. “We were never really good at football. We were just big kids, but this year we put in a lot of work with the other offensive linemen. We have a bond with each other and it’s special to be able to play with the guys on the line.”"
