Fenwick's boys and girls water polo teams are back in familiar positions in the state quarterfinals.

The Friars each won sectional titles Saturday with convincing wins over Lyons at the Lyons Sectional. The boys won 13-7 and the girls cruised to an 11-1 victory.

Danny Farmer scored four of Fenwick's first five goals as the No. 3-ranked Friars (29-4) led 7-4 at halftime in a battle between the top sectional seeds.

Lyons (21-11), which lost for the third consecutive time this season to defending state champion Fenwick, was led by two goals each by George Duffy and George Lundgren.
