It looked like Hinsdale South wrestling was going to run away with their match versus Leyden but a furious comeback nearly turned the tide, according to High School Cube News.

In a wild West Suburban Gold dual meet, visiting Hinsdale South took a 26-0 lead on Leyden before the Eagles went on a 29-4 run. Holding a 29-28 advantage with two matches left, the Hornets got a tech fall win from Justin Maslow (145). The Eagles’ Aaron Farkas (152) followed with a decision win, allowing Hinsdale South to leave town with a 34-31 victory.
