JOLIET – The Electric Daisy festival will most likely see an earlier closing time if it returns to Joliet, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The Sun-Times said, the electric dance music festival received noise complaints from as far away as Mokena, Ill. during it's 2013 run.
"Closing time at the Electric Daisy Carnival likely will be “a lot earlier” if it returns in 2014, Joliet City Manager Thomas Thanas told the city council Monday.
The Electric Daisy Carnival drew about 60,000 people to Joliet during the Memorial Day weekend but also generated hundreds of complaints from people in neighboring communities as the electronic dance music festival ran until 4 a.m. for three nights at Chicagoland Speedway."
