Ides of March benefit concert
Grammy Award winning songwriter, performer and producer Jim Peterik and The Ides of March will perform for one night only at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at The Theatre of Western Springs, 4384 Hampton Ave. The concert is a fundraiser for TWS, and the public is invited. Advance tickets to the Ides of March concert are $30 for TWS subscribers/$35 for non-subscribers. Tickets purchased on the day of the event are $35 for TWS subscribers /$40 for non-subscribers. Children’s Oncology Gala
Children’s Oncology Services will celebrate a 35th Anniversary Gala from 6-11 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St., Chicago. Children’s Oncology Services provides camp experiences and other programs for kids with cancer to just be kids. The evening will include a cocktail reception, dinner and live entertainment. The West Cook YMCA will celebrate its annual gala on Friday, Nov. 8 from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at the Oak Park Country Club, 2001 N. Thatcher Ave., River Grove. The event will commemorate 110 years of the YMCA and will include cocktails and dinner. Otis Wilson from the ‘85 championship Bears will be the keynote speaker and Al Gini of Loyola and NPR will serve as master of ceremonies. Seguin fashion show
Seguin RCA will hold its’ Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon, “Home for the Holidays” on Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Crystal Sky Banquets, McCook. Doors open at 11 a.m. followed by luncheon at noon.
