Super Bowl events in Chicago's suburbs

North Shore

Touchdown with Complimentary Bowling, 4 p.m., Northbrook

Beginning right at the Super Bowl's coin toss, all games of bowling are complimentary. Guests can create their own "bowl" while catching the game on each of the lanes’ flat screen TVs. Handmade pizzas will also be available for $4. Pinstripes, 1150 Willow Road.

Men's Day Super Bowl Bash, 4 p.m., Evanston

ComboSingles Super Bowl Party, 4:30 p.m., Niles

Super Bowl Party and Deals, 11 a.m., Schaumburg

Super Bowl Party, 3 p.m., North Aurora

White Pines Super Bowl Party, 4:30 p.m., Bensenville

Super Bowl XLVIII, 5 p.m., St. Charles

Winter on the Green: Super Bowl Supreme, 1 p.m., Frankfort

Celebrate Super Bowl XLVIII with sports-themed activities and contests, including MVP in the "Canine Catch" and best dressed fan, and a screening of the Puppy Bowl at 2 p.m. Breidert Green, Oak and Kansas Streets. Free.

Pre-Game Super Bowl Party and Meijer, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 1, Orland Park

Southwest Suburb

Super Bowl Party, 5 p.m., Oak Lawn

Attendees can watch the game on a big-screen TV in the dining room. Appetizers include chicken wings, bruschetta and mini meatballs, followed by halftime food such as Italian beef sandwiches, brats, cole slaw and chips.
