The 2014 season at Towle Theater promises new and exciting shows that have never been seen before in Northwest Indiana. From Up Here, which is the third show of the season, is debuting for the first time in the United States at Towle. If you want a sneak peek of what the season has in store, you will not want to miss the season preview taking place January 10-12. Here is a look at what you can expect at this great show.
Adrift in Macao
You can sample this musical parody of the film-noir genre with the song “Sparks,” which is a duet between the iconic femme fatale, Lureena and her handsome love interest, Mitch. This show will be the first in the season premiering on February 28th.
The Nightmare Room
Switching gears to a psychological thriller based on a short story by Arthur Conan Doyle, the showcased scene of The Nightmare Room will reveal the start of the play along with flash back moments that set the stage for this dark drama.
From Up Here
This contemporary muscle follows five strangers in the city who cross paths in unlikely scenarios. The preview will feature the solo song “Positive,” which is set on the Brooklyn Bridge where the entire play takes place.
In this playful adult comedy about love, a couple attempts to revive their five year old marriage. You will see the beginning of their strange outing that paves the way to a return to the honeymoon stage of their relationship.
